These professional hair clippers from Oster take the cake when it comes to smooth cutting, even on thick hair. They’re made to last as they’re made from valox material (also used in car production).

They use detachable blades which have an antimicrobial treatment to make them more hygenic for use on different heads. Blades are easy to remove for cleaning – and you absolutely want to do that regularly.

Many of the reported issues with these (or other clippers) are due to lack of maintenance. But, all parts are serviceable and replaceable. There is also a clip for hanging and the on/off switch is very easily accessible.

Although these are professional hair clippers, they’re super easy to use and they cut through thick and wet hair efficiently. But, you should know that they’re on the heavy side. They’re hardly the quietest hair trimmers either. And then, there’s the price.

If you judge these clippers by their appearance, you’ll be making a huge mistake.

Yes, the body design will make you feel as though you’re playing with a toy. And it’s true that these are only 4″ long and weigh only 4 ounces. But these are merely compact; they’re not a mini model.

These are exceptionally good for close cuts and even shaves.

We would obviously suggest them for travel, except the blade (which is strong and sharp) does need to be oiled before use which means it’s not totally convenient unless you’re happy toting the whole kit with you.
