Love the foiled eyeshadow look but hate the mess it creates? Same. Luckily, we had the chance to try Stila’s Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow for this review. And boy oh boy, were we impressed!

This glitter makeup product does everything we expect from a brush-on glitter shadow. It leaves a lightweight yet opaque layer of shimmery color on the lids with minimal fuss, which means you’ll get to enjoy high-impact makeup without having to deal with multiple complicated steps.

With the right eye primer, this glitter eyeshadow has minimal to no fallout. We also love that it doesn’t crease or fade easily even after several hours.

Tip: Roll the tube between your palms before applying the product. This gives the eyeshadow better consistency for easy application.

We’re not one to worship a product just because of its brand, but we also can’t deny that Hourglass really is known for quality makeup that screams sophistication and versatility. It’s no different with this glitter eyeshadow, as its unique creamy texture feels both luxurious and beginner-friendly at the same time.

The Scattered Light eyeshadow comes in nine shades. All nine colors look eye-catching on the lids, and we’re pretty sure you’ll find them alluring regardless of your skin tone.

What we love the most about this product is its versatility. With one light swipe on the lids, you get subtly-tinted yet deliciously shimmery (almost wet-looking) eyes. But if you’re in the mood for something bolder and more striking, you’ll find that building up the product on your lids is a fuss-free experience.

Like almost all Hourglass products, this cream eyeshadow boasts reflective yet ultra-fine glitter. It’s not chunky nor uber-metallic, which is great if you want a sophisticated look. It also doesn’t crease nor skip. Plus, it lasts all day long.

The Dior Lip Glow comes in three glittery shades: Rose Gold, Holographic Pink, and Holographic Purple. There are a bunch of other colors available in other finishes, too, since this product also has Matte and Satin variants.

This sheer lipstick combines the comfort of a balm with a subtle, natural pop of color. In fact, it’s so nourishing and comfortable that we find ourselves reaching for it every time the weather gets colder.

We absolutely adore how this lip balm manages to create glittery lips without looking too over the top. If the unicorns-and-mermaids look is what you’re after, we recommend that you go for the Ciate liquid lip that we have reviewed above. But if you want to get away with sporting glittery lips in an everyday setting, this is your best bet!

According to Dior, the Lip Glow has Color Reviver technology that adapts to the unique chemistry of your lips. While we can’t say for sure if this technology really is everything that Dior says it is, we’re happy to report that it does look flattering against a wide variety of skin tones.

The Dior Lip Glow costs $34. Yup, that’s a steep price for a sheer lippie. And yup, a good portion of that price probably has more to do with the Dior name and lush packaging than the product itself.

But honestly, we think that the entire experience of using this product makes it well worth it. If you’re in the mood to lavish your lips with luxurious glittery goodness and you have the cash to spare, trust us. You won’t regret getting this. It’s the best glitter lipstick we’ve tried and we, frankly, are obsessed.

This lip gloss feels smooth and hydrating on the lips. We can’t get over its yummy smell and – dare we say it – taste! Even though it has a thicker formula, it’s not overly sticky or tacky which, of course, is awesome.

Aside from its glittery finish, this gloss also gives your lips a very sheer wash of color. We appreciate that all three shades are universally flattering, too! Note, however, that its tint is very, very sheer. You’ll definitely notice a slight difference in color, but it’s not a pigmented lip gloss by any means.

RiRi’s team says that this lip gloss boasts “explosive shine,” and we agree. We love to use it as a glossy, glittery topper for our favorite matte lipsticks and lip liners. It doesn’t disrupt the consistency of most bullet and liquid lipsticks, which is great.

Although it’s not the most long-lasting lip gloss out there, it’s very easy to reapply. The cute little tube conveniently fits inside even the tiniest purse, making it ideal for mid-day touchups.

Ciaté London’s Glitter Flip Lipstick makes shiny, shimmery lips super easy to achieve — no need to fuss with messy glitter and a separate lip base (thank heavens!). You can reveal its glittery magic by simply pressing your lips together.

It’s also dual-use since you can use it as is (if you don’t press your lips together, you’re left with a more muted metallic finish). We really appreciate how lightweight it is. And although it’s pretty long-wearing, removing it is easy with a cleansing oil.

If you enjoy playing with glitter makeup and experimenting with all sorts of colorful looks, this eyeliner will give you a lot of creative freedom. The texture is slightly tacky but pretty easy to use nonetheless.

While you won’t get a lot of color payoff at first swipe, you can easily build up this eyeliner to get the opacity and shine you’re looking for. Having to build up the color through layering might take a bit more time, but this also means you can easily adjust the impact of your look – from subtly shimmery to full-on metallic. Besides, the formula itself takes a while to dry, anyway, so you really shouldn’t be using this liner if you are strapped for time.

That said, the liner is bound to stay on your lids all day once it dries down. It’s budge-proof and smudge-proof making it perfect for parties. The applicator is thin and tiny, which is great for drawing details and creating very precise lines.
