#2 Most Comfortable Bra
24/7 Classic T-Shirt Bra
- Incredibly comfortable and soft
- Simple yet beautiful design
- Really well made
Pros
This bra hits all the high points: support, comfort, and looks. And the 24/7 Classic T-Shirt Bra from ThirdLove does just that indeed.
After testing this bra for an entire week, our editor would say that this bra goes above and beyond on all of the above categories.
- The full coverage cups kept the girls in place through a walk with the dog, shuffling around the mall for a few hours, and doing chores around the house.
- In terms of comfort, it’s absolutely shocking how soft and lightweight the material is. Especially for someone with larger breasts, it’s not common to find bras that aren’t made of thicker, rougher cottons and can still hold you in.
- And looks? It’s a really simple design, but the details on the straps and the overall sheen of the bra are just lovely.

#3 Best Convertible Bra
Victoria’s Secret Multi-Way Bra
- Awesome lift and support
- Perfect amount of padding
- Super versatile bra that can be worn with or without straps
Pros
When you think of strapless bras, you might think about those backless ones that have been promoted all over Instagram lately (see the Komene strapless that made our list of best push-up bras). The problem with bras like those, however, is that they’re not a universally good choice for all breast sizes or shapes—like this one.
Having been huge supporters of Victoria’s Secret bras for over a decade now, we at Lovablepicks must say this bra is the absolute best. It can be worn with the standard two straps going over your shoulders. It can be worn as a racerback. It can be worn as a halter. And, yes, it can even be worn strapless (though we’d only recommend that if you wear a C-cup or smaller).
In addition to just being an all-around versatile bra, it’s also one of the softest and most comfortable ones our editors have ever had the pleasure of wearing. It holds everything firmly in place, too, while giving the girls a good amount of lift. If you want a bra that’s going to do it all, you can’t go wrong here.

#4 Best Bra for Plus-Sized Ladies
Leia Contour Plus Bra
- Made specifically for the body and shape of plus-sized ladies
- Provides a good amount of lift and support
- Not just functional, but also sexy
Pros
One of the most common complaints about bras made for smaller-breasted women is how close together the straps are and how the cups do nothing for support. That’s why we were delighted to find the Leia Contour Plus Bra from AdoreMe. With almost 1,000 customer reviews of this bra (and underwear, as it comes in a set), ladies can’t get enough of how supportive and great-fitting this bra is.

- Beautifully designed
- Really cool color selection
Pros

#6 Best Bra for Larger Cup Sizes
Natori Pure Luxe Underwire T-Shirt Bra
- Smooth and invisible beneath T-shirts
- Comfortably soft
- Makes breasts look natural and yet beautifully lifted
Pros
Too much lift, too much padding, too many crazy straps… Sometimes you just want a bra that’s simple in its mission. This T-shirt bra from Natori is a fantastic pick if you want something that will sit invisibly beneath the thinnest of shirts.
We also thought the ornately-designed straps were a beautiful touch. T-shirt bras tend to be on the over-simplified side, and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the case, as evidenced by this one. Plus, the straps are good and wide which makes them a nice touch for women who have a larger cup size and need that extra support and lift.

#8 Best Luxury Bra
Prima Donna Deauville Full Cup Bra
- Great fit for larger cup sizes
- Supportive but still has some give
- Downright beautiful
Pros
It’s hard to find luxury bras that won’t break the bank but still look great on women with larger cup sizes. This Prima Donna bra was made specifically for those women and it’s one you won’t mind paying the extra money for.

#9 Sexiest Bra for Women
Jocie Unlined Bra
- Looks fantastic whether you have clothes on or not
- The lace is incredibly soft
- Great bra to transition from day to night
Pros
The lack of quality, unlined bras for larger cup sizes is frustrating. They’re either too uncomfortable, dig too much into the breasts or shoulders, or they look like granny bras with super-wide straps and blah colors. That is not at all the case with the Jocie Unlined, which is a supremely sexy bra for women of (almost) all cup sizes!
After giving this one a test run for a few days, our editor was incredibly satisfied with the quality of the bra. While you won’t be able to wear this under a thin T-shirt and probably wouldn’t think to put this on when out running errands, it will definitely see some play when it comes to nicer events to attend at night… or for events that take place at home (if you catch our drift).
There’s just something so nice about wearing this bra (and underwear). It will make you feel sexy but is also just a joy to wear. Soft, supportive enough, and breathable (which you don’t find in a lot of bras).

Best Bra Tips & Guide
How are bra sizes measured?
Measuring for a bra can be complicated. And, it’s hard to know if you’re wearing the wrong size. Chances are, if you have wrinkling in the cups, a band that rides up, cup spillage, or straps that won’t stay put, you’re probably wearing the wrong size.
The first step to measuring your bra size is determining your band size. While braless, measure the area directly under your bust. It’s important to round to the nearest whole number. So, if you measure 31.5, round to 32 inches.
If the number you measure is even, add four inches. If it’s odd, add five. This is your band size.
Confused? If you measure 32 inches, your band size is a 36. If you measure 33 inches, your band size is a 38.
The next step to measuring your bra size is determining your cup size. To do this, measure loosely around your breasts (at nipple level). Again, you’re going to want to round to the nearest whole number.
To figure out your bra size, subtract your band size from your bust measurement and look at the bust minus band difference chart. So if your bust size is 34 inches and your band size is 32 inches (34-32=2 inches). That’s a 34B.
If this seems like too much work or math isn’t your thing, you can always get measured at your nearest Victoria’s Secret.
How do you know if your bra is too big?
It can be tricky determining your bra size. And, you may not know if your bra is either too big or too small.
However, there are a couple of different ways you should be able to tell. First, it’s important to check the cup size.
Your bra cups should be big enough to prevent your breasts from bulging or spilling out. If this is happening, your cup size is probably too small. If your bra cups have wrinkling, or are clearly bigger than both of your breasts, the size is most likely too big.
Next, you should check the band on your bra. The back and front of your bra band should be at the same level on your body. If the band is too tight, digs into your skin, or isn’t comfortable to wear, it’s too small.
If your breasts are falling out from the bottom of your bra or your bra back is riding up, your band size is too big. The right size band will fit securely around you and not ride up in the back.
How can I make my bra fit better?
The best way to make your bra fit better is to get sized for one. Or, do it yourself with the steps above.
Once you have the right size bra, start with it on the loosest clasp, so as it stretches you can make it tighter. A tight band is key to making your bra fit best.
Keep in mind that you want to check your bra straps every so often. They should feel snug and supportive.
If you really want your girls to look their best, try gathering them in the right place. Pull your breasts up as you push the underwire down. This will lift and give you better shape. Or you can also use bra inserts instead of push up bra.
Is it good to sleep without a bra?
Actually, it’s best to sleep without a bra. There are many false secrets out there that claim that wearing a bra to bed will keep your girls perkier. But the truth is, it won’t. According to the Huffington Post, “There is certainly no evidence that sleeping in bras is either helpful or harmful, sagging or changes in the breast are due to a number of factors: Pregnancy and breastfeeding being the most common causes, along with time and gravity.”
In fact, whether or not you want to wear a bra to bed is up to you (and depends on your breast size). It may actually be more comfortable to wear a bra to bed if your breasts are larger or if they are sore.
However, wearing an underwire bra to bed probably won’t be comfortable and might actually impact your quality of sleep.
What is the best way to wash a bra?
Believe it or not, there is a way to wash your bras without ruining them. If you’re washing and drying your bras with the rest of your load, immediately stop doing so. Why? Bras are delicate (and they cost a fortune). It’s important to take care of them to ensure you get the most wear.
If you have the time, it’s always best to hand wash and air-dry your bras. But, we at Lovablepicks get that you have friends to see and Netflix to catch up on. So, it might not always be ideal to spend time hand washing.
Luckily, you can wash your bras in the washing machine. If you must, do so on the gentle cycle with the slowest spin speed. This will come closest to replicating hand washing.
It’s also important to put your bras in a mesh bag. Straps and hooks can easily become tangled or snagged on other clothes during the wash and spin cycles. Putting bras into a zip-up mesh bag will protect the straps from snagging and becoming stretched out.
Last but not least, never ever put your bras in the dryer. No matter how busy your life may be. Instead, you should always hang dry your bras or lay them flat to dry.
How do you keep your bra straps from showing?
Every girl knows that your bra straps should never show. So the good news is, on the days where you want to wear a thin tank top, there are ways to hide the straps.
The obvious answer is to wear a strapless bra. However, if you don’t have one, or simply don’t like to, you can use clips.
To keep your straps from showing, use a paper clip to turn a bra into a racerback, or to hide straps that keep poking out from sleeveless tops. If DIY isn’t your thing, there are also special bra strap clips you can buy just about anywhere.
Although, the truth is, if your straps are falling down, you’re probably wearing the wrong size bra.
What are the different kinds of bras?
If you’ve ever walked into Victoria’s Secret and wondered about the endless bra types – you’re not alone.
In fact, there are over 20 different types of bras. But not to worry, you don’t need every single one. That being said, if you have the right bra for every occasion, it can seriously make things a lot more comfortable. Not only that, the perfect-fitted bra can totally change the look of your outfit.
Some of the different kinds of bras include:
Strapless bra:
Just as the name suggests, this bra has no straps. Although it might seem like a nightmare to wear, you can actually find great strapless bras that stay put and provide lift.
T-Shirt bra:
This type of bra is a dream to wear. The T-shirt bra is designed like a demi or a full-cup bra, but it doesn’t have any seams or fabrics that create bumps or lines under a tight shirt.
Demi-cup bra:
The demi is one of the sexiest kinds of bras out there. This bra covers half of your breast, and lifts them for added cleavage.
Push-up bra:
The push-up is a popular kind of bra for women with small breasts. It’s designed like the demi cup and lifts your breasts towards the center for added cleavage. What sets the push-up apart is that it has padding, making your breasts look more full.
Sports bra:
The sports bra is probably the most comfortable bra out there. It holds your girls in place to prevent breast pain during exercise.
Bralette:
The bralette is a delicate, feminine bra with gorgeous lacey details. Even the straps are pretty enough to show. The bralette is wireless and usually doesn’t have padded cups. It’s a comfortable bra best worn with your lounge outfits or with any loose tank tops.
Convertible bra:
This kind of bra is a wardrobe staple. With convertible straps, you can transform this bra into a halter, racerback or even crisscross for different shirts or dresses. You can typically remove the straps to make this bra strapless. Now, that’s impressive.
Nursing bra:
The nursing bra is a must-have if you’re planning on having a baby and nursing. The nursing bra is designed to give you extra support with wide bands and soft cups. This bra also comes with a flap that you can open to easily feed your baby.
What bra brands are the best?
Of course, there’s Victoria’s Secret, which is known for making top-of-the-line bras. But depending on what you’re looking for, these brands might be more ideal for you.
Calvin Klein bras are sporty, athletic, and beyond comfortable. Their cotton bralettes are perfect for the gym or for running errands. This bra brand is also great for lounging around at home.
La Perla is another bra brand to check out. La Perla bras are so incredibly beautiful and known for their intricate lacey details. On the downside, this bra brand is also incredibly expensive.
Panache bras are perfect bras for the D+ sizes. This bra brand is ideal for women with larger breasts as they give an amazing amount of support.
Which bra is best for good shape?
The Victoria’s Secret Multi-Way Bra is the best bra for shape, hands down. Girls, this bra will lift, shape, and give you a good amount of cleavage. As a bonus, this bra is super sexy.
The Victoria’s Secret Multi-Way is so versatile; it can be worn in five different ways for plenty of style options. This bra can be worn classic, halter, cross back, one-strap, or strapless. Even without the straps, this convertible bra is held in place thanks to the slip-proof fabric band.
Plus, with the perfect amount of padding, it will give you the desired amount of lift and support (no matter what your breast size maybe).
Big breasts or small, everyone is comfortable in the Multi-Way Bra, which comes in sizes A to DDD. You’ll also be happy knowing there are eight colors to choose from, including the basics: black, gray, nude, and white. It comes in a gorgeous vintage rose, too.
What is the most comfortable bra?
The Maidenform Women’s Comfort Devotion Demi Underwire Bra is hands down the most comfortable bra out there. It’s so comfortable; you can actually sleep in it.
With a moderate amount of coverage and decent support, this bra can be worn by anyone up to the DD cup sizes. Women with smaller breasts especially love the support this demi bra offers.
If comfort is your main goal, you really can’t do better than this. When ladies say that an underwire bra is so soft and comfortable enough to sleep in, you know they’re not messing around. And, although it has a simple design, it’s still the right amount of sexy. The best part is, there are over 20 colors and designs to choose from including lilac and floral.
If you’re wondering about the price, you’re in luck. The pricing of this bra depends on the color and size you order, but Maidenform is definitely one of the more affordable bra brands out there ranging from $15-$40.
What is the best bra for a full bust?
The Soma Full Coverage Lace Trim Bra is not only sexy, but it’s made specifically for women with a full bust. As a bonus, they have an amazing color selection including merlot, gem green, and pale iris.
This bra is available in sizes B through DDD. The contour foam cups work to keep your breasts feeling secure and lifted. And, because this is made with a full bust in mind, the straps are super soft, no-slip, and chafe-free. So, you won’t have any noticeable bumps and creases.
The best part about this bra is the microfiber fabric. Microfiber is probably the softest, most comfortable material, ever. Although this bra is a little on the expensive side at $46, you’re paying for quality materials and design. Plus, you can’t put a price on the perfect fit.
What is the best bra?
The Natori Element Full fit Contour Underwire Bra is the best bra we could find. The Natori Element is the best of the best in all areas: comfort, support, fit, coverage, and design.
The best part is, this bra is made for breasts of most shapes and sizes. The Natori is available in sizes A through DDDD. Now, that’s impressive. The only downside is it only comes in two colors at the moment: black and café.
Women love this bra because it holds everything in place, provides full coverage, and has incredibly soft memory foam cups. The memory foam cups do an unbeatable job of providing your breasts with a snug fit while also giving your silhouette a beautiful shape beneath your clothes.
With the perfect amount of padding, supportive straps, and cups that lift, you’re not going to find a bra that feels any better.
